Master of Public Health 2024-26
Offered by Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health USA in cooperation with the IIHMR University, Jaipur, India
All prospective students(MBBS and Non-MBBS graduates), of the MPH Program offered by JHSPH in cooperation with the IIHMR University, Jaipur will be given scholarships to support their MPH program interests. This two-level support includes an Admission cum Academic Excellence Scholarship (based on academic merit in a Bachelor's degree) in form of a tuition fee waiver & Travel Course Work Scholarship (given to all the students), for studying in JHSPH – IIHMR MPH program. The eligibility criteria for granting scholarships are as under:
Admission cum Academic Excellence Scholarships:
For MBBS graduates
- This scholarship will be awarded to all MBBS students who have 55% or above aggregate marks in the overall MBBS curriculum, cleared pre-screening as well as the selection round from JHSPH, and enrolled in the IIHMR-JHU MPH program in the academic year when the scholarship is announced.
- The scholarship amount-1200 USD
- Conditions for award of scholarship
- The eligible students will be considered for award of the scholarship only in case they register on SOPHAS and complete their applications by 30 June 2024 . Those completing the applications after 30 June 2024 will lose their eligibility for award of this scholarship.
- The award of scholarship will also be subject to the final review and selection of the candidate for the Johns Hopkins BSPH – IIHMRU MPH Program. If the candidate had successfully completed the admission process on SOPHAS , but either fails to clear the credentialling process or is not selected in the final review for admissions, the candidate will not be eligible for the award of scholarship. The admission committee of the Johns Hopkins BSPH – IIHMRU MPH program will be deciding the authority for final selection.
- The scholarship will be in the form of a tuition fee waiver.
- The waiver will be given during the deposit of the third installment (Second installment payable at IIHMR University) of the tuition fee scheduled in April’25.
- If none of the candidates fulfill the eligibility criteria for the award of a scholarship, the scholarship will not be awarded in that year.
For Non-MBBS graduates:
- Total 5 scholarships will be given to non-MBBS graduates
- Non-MBBS Graduates with 70% or above aggregate marks in their primary bachelor’s degree & exemplary public health experience are eligible to be considered for the award of a scholarship.
- The scholarship amount-1200 USD per eligible student
- Conditions for award of scholarship
- The eligible students will be considered for award of the scholarship only in case they register on SOPHAS and complete their applications by 30 June 2024 . Those completing the applications after 30 June 2024 will lose their eligibility for award of this scholarship. Among all Non-MBBS applicants meeting the eligibility criteria for the scholarship, a merit list will be prepared based on aggregate marks in bachelor's degree and the three eligible candidates will be declared in first week of July 2024 based on the merit list.
- The award of scholarship will also be subject to the final review and selection of the candidate for the Johs Hopkins BSPH – IIHMRU MPH Program. If the candidate had successfully completed the admission process on SOPHAS , but either fails to clear the credentialling process or is not selected in the final review for admissions, the candidate will not be eligible for the award of scholarship. The admission committee of the Johns Hopkins BSPH – IIHMRU MPH program will be deciding the authority for final selection. In case the candidates initially declared for award of scholarship do not get enrolled in the course due to any reason (Failure to clear credentialling / final review for admission / personal reasons ) the candidates next in order of merit will be considered for award of scholarships.

Reimbusement of SOPHAS and Credentialing fee:
All students admitted to MPH program offered by Johns Hopkins BSPH-IIHMRU will be reimbursed the amount as per the following details on submission of receipt or any other valid evidence:
- SOPHAS fee (Mandatory): 145 $
- Credentialing fee (Mandatory): Fee varies depending on the credentialing agency as given below:

Scholarship Name -Travel Scholarship for Coursework (All Students)
- All students admitted to MPH program offered by Johns Hopkins BSPH-IIHMRU will be provided a travel scholarship to attend Summer Institute for course work (10-15 days) at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (BSPH), Baltimore, USA every year.
- This includes International and local travel expenses for Jaipur-Baltimore- Jaipur trip and lodging arrangements in the USA during the coursework.
